4. Complete & final battle scene, inc. SFX of WW2 Tiger Tank 1/6 scale RC model

This is the last & final edit of this film (promise :-)). Added further effects inc. explosions, muzzle fire special effects, new color ending etc to complete movie look - original edit (desaturated color 'Saving Private Ryan' look, without effects) at vimeo.com/467443

Again my Dad, as his hobby, built an exact replica, in superb detail, of a German World War 2 Tiger Tank in Winter colors. The soldiers are 12 inches tall, for scale purposes. The tank is around 1 metre/just over 3 feet in length and weighs 352 lbs.

Yes looks nice. Fantastic job on the details of that tank. Good to keep the camera this low.
Cool that the puppets can move, really helps for the shots with them.
Can I give a few suggestions?
First about the film noise, I remember another thread on it, maybe you can find it. One point is that the vertical lines are too straight and too narrow. The other grains also look too identical and too small overall.
The explosions do not work for me. It seems too flimsy, and not hitting the ground.
The tank, when it comes over the hill, is another giveaway that this is scale. A large tank would make a slower bounce, and bounce pretty deep, probably crushing some dirt etc.
What's the white frames/flashing that I see twice per second all the time?
Finally I think it would help to add some extra props like the railways and other puppets that you seem to have

That was really cool. One suggestion though would be to use the motion tracker feature with your explosions and muzzle flashes that way they look like theyre stuck onto the ground rather than stuck on the camera lens. Good job!

The movie captured the spirit of the battle.
You can never do everything perfectly in animation and people have to ignore the little things :)
    It' not real... ya know?

Congratz to your father for the fantastic replica.
I liked that whole movie and hope you'll do more of it. Suggestions are good.

My suggestion is do more of this.... same battle and improve on the camera take. Just for fun, take the same footage and make quick cuts, speed up the action a bit. It's not easy to make a cool movie :)

Music is appropriate and well done.
