The Exploratorium's Learning Studio is bringing a chain reaction event to Maker Faire. We thought that the contraption, built by participants, needs a grandiose finale. We toyed with different ideas, and finally settled on three rings of ping pong balls launched by a bowling ball dropping into a tube. This video documents some of our development process.
