There is a lot of discussion going on about increasing the number of STEM graduates. The world economic position of the USA as well as our own ability to maintain our country are at stake. Any project or idea that survives has a champion behind it. I believe it is past time to offer engineering coaching to STEM students to help them choose and prepare for successful STEM careers. My estimate is that we are coaching maybe 1% in our schools and I challenge us to move to 6%. This talk provides some basic information about how to accomplish the 6% challenge.
