I ought to add that the software I used (ToonBoom Studio) has a serious problem, and creates a lagging effect while producing the animation. This severely affects the audio visual synchronization - so certain effects I deliberately executed where a visual sequence should corrspond with an audio event ends up failing to happen. It's not possible to know at which points this will have occurred until after processing and compositing (which takes at least an hour each time - far too long for what should be a given in the already lengthy process of animating and editing). I am very angry at Toonboom. They have actually impeded my development as an animator for 6 months by their inability to address this problem, and things I have produced have made me look bad due to this unsatisfactory software. I can't afford the more expensive versions of their other animation software packages nor those of other manufacturers, so it is a frustrating dilemma in which I am forced I have to create "make do" animations that really don't reflect my abilities fairly.
Additional note: I tagged 'dub', yes, but of course I don't really consider the audio as dub, it's just a tag that is in say, the same county as where the ballpark is, but still miles away. And, oh yes, because of ToonBoom Studio's limitations, the original track has been cut to ribbons, and I decided to literally cut it like that as a reflection of how I am still essentially trapped in a lo-fi DIY cul-de-sac. The full track is on Soundcloud at the address below.
