The first principle of medicine is "Do No Harm" , a principle which has been, sadly, overlooked.
Now, Allopathic Medicine is very Mechanical, it tends to ignore the Psyche & Mind.
The Doctor of Old had a Good "Bed Side Manner" - which basically meant He was great at inspiring Sick People to get better - even though he knew he had no medication to help them get better.
This frequently worked very well, and helped many people back to Health.
You, as a GP should understand this concept - which Scientists call Psychoneuroimmunology.
If Homoeopathy works for a group of people, but you don't understand why, surely it's prudent to stand back and observe the people who are getting better - listen to them, examine them and see the changes that are taking place in their physiology & pathology - instead of slagging off a form of Medicine that obviously works.
On the Continent - Germany, Switzerland & Austria - No one questions that Homoeopathy helps with many conditions. Sadly in the UK, where the Medical Profession are stuck in 7 minute consultations and "Drug Only Solutions" - they fail time and again to help.
