Christy & Chris's Fabulous Montecito Wedding
2 years ago
Last weekend, we were honored to shoot our last event of 2007. It was so cool to end 2007 with such a fantabulous event! First of all, if you've never been to the Santa Barbara/Montecito area before, go. Just GO! Everytime we visit or shoot a wedding up there it's just magical. It would be great to retire there someday... but we'd need a few millions laying around to buy property so I guess it will have to wait a VERY long time!
But I digress...
I had been hearing about Christy & Chris's wedding ever since this summer and the event did not disappoint. The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (which I heard is where Christy's parents were married) and the reception was held at the Montecito Country Club. One of my favorite venues. Christopher Aldama was the event producer, and the Details Details gals were on-hand to coordinate. Everything went off without a hitch. Ira Lippke was the photographer and he took some absolutely stunning images. The room looked amazing with all the lighting on the walls and the amazing floral designs. My favorite part was the cake... check out all those sugar flowers! (It was done by The Cake Studio). After the main part of the reception was over, doors opened to another room that hosted the After Party. What kicked this portion of the night off? Well the SAME DAY EDIT of course! It was displayed (w/music pumped) on several plasma screens mounted around the room. It was an all-together amazing day. Congratulations Christy & Chris!
