I wrote this song and shot the video with my lovely wife Carissa. I actually wrote the first lyric of the song driving away from my house in the morning and finished them on my 60 minute ride to work. As you will see I'm a little frustrated with the economic situation in our country right now and the song simply reflects how many of us feel.
I use Protools for all of my music recording, play all of the instruments and perform all the vocals. Carissa shot all of the video and I edited the video using Corel.
My friend Kevin Bockus, who happens to be a long time volunteer fireman helped me put out the house fire and then foreclosed on my house. Kevin was also nice enough to let me clean the bathroom at Country Hills firehouse #24 shooting what I see as my retirement. :-)
We shot the fancy dance scenes at "Noble Art Pianos" in Easton PA because the building is just so awesome. It was built mid 1800s and crazy enough hasn't changed too much since then.
We shot our homeless scenes in Easton PA by the location of the old Dixie Cup factory.
Several of the still images in the video I purchased from "Icanstock" photo online, a great place for access to royalty free images, which really helped make my point as well.
I hope you all enjoy watching the video as much as we enjoyed making it!
