This is footage I shot in Rome when it snowed for the first time in over 20 years. It was a magical moment to see this "Eternal City" covered in snow. I had always hoped to use this footage for a special project. When I heard the Sigur Rós track, Varðeldur, I knew it was a perfect fit. The song captures the beauty and enchantment of that unique time.
This is my entry in to the Sigur Rós Valtari Film Competition.
