These scenes were taken simultaneously by one camcorder using two compression methods. This video is one of the recordings, recorded *by* the camcorder using AVCHD at 1080 60P, 28 Mbps. This is to be compared with the recording made from the camcorder's uncompressed 60i HDMI stream by the Atomos Ninja 2 using Apple Pro Res 422 (145Mbps) on the Ninja 2 and edited and converted using Sony Vegas Pro to Avid DNxHD 60i (145Mbps). Both compress using 10 bits per channel with 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. AVCHD uses 8 bits per channel with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling.

The Ninja 2 recording is

Shaky cam because I was holding the camcorder and Ninja with one hand. Red flowers are a challenge for any codec.

Same clips, same scenes, same lens and sensor - different compression. The AVCHD original file is 450MBs. The AVID/Apple original is 2.5GBs.
