This is the early, messy proto-type for "Body Envelope", which when finished, will lead to an evening of performances as part of the Zero1 Biennial (performances will be 7pm, 11/8/2012 at Montalvo - more info here: zero1biennial.org/content/nina-waisman.
In this video is Natalie Metzger exploring the first wired prototype of "Body Envelope" - I threw in random sound to see how that added up, wondering if i can eventually construct an interactive shell that could support most any sound. Next stop, curating sound specifically for the piece - I will make this interactive shell into a series of instruments to be played by different dancers and audiences.
