Time is not linear, it travels in concentric circles, like the planets orbiting their sun. Or in elongated spirals, like the outstretched arms of our own galaxy; twisting and bending and doubling back on itself as it goes along. All things in our existence are cyclical. Time's number marches forward, but patterns repeat, cycles unfold.
