Cinema Libertad is a short film that tells the story of Nacho and Ela. Two kids that with the help of a ray of light and their imagination give life back to the old Cine Libertad, an abandoned Cinema, that now its habited by many people.

Cinema Libertad has been screened in more than 23 countries and 29 cities around the world. Its screenplay, was selected in competition for the Berlin Today Award at the Berlinale Talet Campus 7. Also, it won the first place, "Best film through the eye of the world" on the CAFF festival in Rome, Italy 2009.

Its been part of the selection of cinematheques such as: Melbourne (ACMI), Telaviv, Montevideo, Santo Domingo, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, and Jerusalem.
