    The reason the gear does not fit is because you are using the canon fd s.s.c. which is an oddball size. If you remove the spacer on the thumb screw side the gear you have in the video will fit with the screw. They will fit regular fd lenses perfectly. Just thought I'd let you know cause the rubber band could let the gear slip.
