Entretemps is a conceptual movie shot in the Museum of Zoology in Lausanne (my deep thanks for their authorisation).

Most of my work is narrative. In this particular movie, I have tried to give it another direction.

Since I'm a photographer, I have shot some photos too, that you will find on simplemoment.com , my website, under the title "Not Human Anymore". The story is different, though.

    Very cool.

What program did you use to slow down the clip?
  • Thank you! I've modified an AVISynth script to meet my needs. I can't say it's the easiest way to go but since I haven't bought yet any high-end video editing program, it still helps ;)

Very nice footage. How did you achieve the 'look' / grade.
  • Thanks! By using Curves as I do in Photoshop.

Wonderful footage!!! love it!! as you mentioned on the above comment, you said you color corrected the footage in photoshop, so did you have to do it frame by frame? and did you add the smoke in post or it was originally in the shot? sorry for so many questions haha
  • Hey, sorry for the late reply. The color-correction isn't done in Photoshop but in Serif Movie Plus X3 (as well as the editing). The Curves adjustment is the same in both application.

Smoke is filmed separately and added in post.

Wow I really love your style. your colors are soft and understated and the lighting is always great. I usually don't like conceptual pieces but I can't take my eyes away from yours
