Where is God in the spaces we inhabit? What does good design communicate about his nature?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1

The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;
Psalm 24:1

There is one timeless way of building. It is thousands of years old, and the same today as it has always been. The great traditional buildings of the past, the villages and tents and temples in which man (or woman) feels at home, have always been made by people who were very close to the centre of this way. It is not possible to make great buildings, or great towns, beautiful places, places where you feel yourself, places where you feel alive, except by following this way. And, as you will see, this way will lead anyone who looks for it to buildings which are themselves as ancient in their form, as the trees and hills, and as our faces are.

At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home.
The prophet Zephaniah 3:20

". . . I believe he (renown Architect Christopher Alexander) is likely to be remembered most of all, in the end, for having produced the first credible proof of the existence of God"
Eric Buck, Department of Philosophy, University of Kentucky

“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31
