(Barely any color grade. I wanted to keep the look & feel of the chilly & wet spring day. Still working with the jello-effect... trying different techniques and glass. Overall though, the D5000 is a fantastically gorgeous camera.)

I saw you had also d90. I have to chose beetwin d5000 and d90. The diference in price beetwin it worth it? Or both are the same great camera, just diferences in body?
The camera that I own is the D5000. My other D90 videos were done with a friends camera before I purchased my own DSLR.
The tough decision you trying to make is one that I had to go through, along with thousands of others. Is it really worth the couple extra hundred for a few extra features?
After doing my homework on the differences, researching for weeks & weeks, I decided that saving those extra dollars on a few less features, and instead devoting the extra money towards lenses would be worth it... and I am VERY happy w/ my decision. The "insides" are almost the exact same, but like you said, a few "outside" body differences. Body size, LCD screen/resolution, internal AF motor... I would suggest you research each & every difference between the two, and if you can live w/o those extras (which I easily could), then make your purchase and don't look back. :)
Thanks again.
