This animated slideshow--complete with Eikichi Yazawa soundtrack--depicts a tea-buying trip I made to Japan, which was documented by a film crew for Europe's "360° GEO" TV show. Followed by the crew, I visited small, independent tea estates in Kyushu.
I call this series "Stringing Tea" because I also worked with the film crew as their stringer--which in the movie biz means a driver, interpreter, travel agent, luggage carrier, interviewer, and all-around assistant.
