While the lens makes it impossible to get in close to the action at this major sporting arena (being a wider lens) it does suite this shooting requirement as its purpose is primarily for training in which case a wider shot is more desirable.

Maybe there is something you can see if you freeze the frames, personally though I watch video without it being paused.

This was shot in 720 50p with 1/1000s shutter speed as the output was only for PAL SD.
