Un petit vidéo que j'ai filmé et monté à l'occasion de la marche vers l'indépendance du Québec le 24 mai 2009. C'était vraiment une belle journée.

La chanson est Magnificient de U2.

La caméra est la superbe Sony EX1.

Very nice work. Although its a shame about the IR contamination on the black clothing (black with a purple tone) when the sunlight hits it. Sony really needs to fix this.

Yeah I know... What's weird is that it's not on every type of clothes that I get this brownish look. Do you think it can be usefull to contact Sony? I also need a shoulder mount, the camera is so heavy that I was holding it against my chest and I have to many low-angle shots...

Well, there is a pretty lengthy conversation about the EX1 and IR contamination over at dvinfo.net. It would be worth a read. I feel Sony is very aware of it. There are some IR screw on filters that have had some success removing it. I have pretty much researched this to death as I am weighing the pros-cons as I prepare to buy a new HD cam. I am trying to rationalise this as the EX1 was at the top of my list. You can see a filter test at vimeo.com/4791723

Excellent vidéo, tu as du talent!

Je suis un membre du RRQ on me voit dans ton vidéo. Si tu peux mettre ce vidéo sur youtube ou d'autres quand on voit des membres du RRQ ça serait apprécier. Je suis aussi monteur vidéo et j'ai besoin de materiel. J'ai beaucoup de photos mais presque aucun vidéo, je peux les téléchager facilement sur youtube. Comme dit Catherine tes prises sont superbes! Nous Vaincrons!!!
