recycle and reuse your magazines by making a canvas that you can use in your mixed media art.

I seldom purchase canvases. This is an inexpensive and super easy way to make your own, in any size you want . I like to use Golden's Self Leveling Clear Gel, but you can use another kind of gel medium or adhesive.

NOTE: When making my own canvases out of magazine pages, I work with a dry brush. I DO NOT wet the brush in water.....that would delay the drying process and would significantly warp your canvas.

This canvas is a great mixed media surface to work on.
