In the southern tradition, we're eating part of our wedding cake one year later.
Also: I've been informed that the tradition is not about eating the groom's cake, which is just the 'other' cake at a wedding. It's just about eating part of the cake a year later. Now you know.

Ben Millett 7 months agoMy wife and I kept part of our cake in the freezer, but would nibble on it throughout the first year, just to make sure that we weren't letting it all go bad. There was a little left for our anniversary, for the sake of saying we had some of it, but some traditions are best broken.
