    Nice Chad!

What settings did you use for capturing, such as shutter speed, time between shots and what program did you use to edit it?

    thanks

The settings vary greatly per clip but in general I usually capture somewhere between every 5-10 seconds. This instantiation of this piece was speed up about 400% so I theoretically could have captured way less often if this speed was the only thing I intended for but it definitely was not...
I use a pretty broad set of tools from Photomatix (HDR), Lightroom, Quicktime Pro and Final Cut Studio. Here is an overview of what I normally do...

Timelapse on steroids. That`s crazy fast.

The pacing is pretty intense here. Interestingly my first take at this compilation was too long to put up on Vimeo. I have a 12:56 version of this up on YouTube.

It is approximately 1/4th of the speed and to a different song. The file was way to big for me to get up on Vimeo so I had to get creative in order to share with my Vimeo peeps. The faster pace certainly loses some of the elegance but the ADD side of me still enjoys it 8- )

Nicely done! It's very inspirational and love the hdr. How much time does it take you to render HDR time-lapses? What kind of computing power do you have?

THANKS FOR SHARE THIS. i had an ex3 sony, but to get the night lights i had to put extended slow shutter, wich gives me a bleached sun... how, if you may help, can i switch from one situation to another?
