(Don't miss to check out the episodes second part: vimeo.com/51661368 )
This whitsuntide we went to the Aosta valley spent there about 3 days doing some class 3-4 to 4-5 rivers for warmup and enjoying the sun and the heat. Then we went on to the Piemont area savoring some stronger dope as the Chuisella river and others like Egua or Gronda and Sorba. Afterwards we drove right to Ticino and enjoyed the rivers the Verzasca area has to offer as the Ossola and the Verzasca itself of course. We also scoutet the so called "California Section" of the Rovanna river, but as the levels were due to persistent rainfalls way to high for a personal first descent especially for a two riders team, we decided to not go paddling that day and went on to the San Giovanni rivers waterfallsection and the upper Isorno-george. Of course we didn't miss to check out Ribo and had a little stout session at the lower 50 ft. waterfall.
For making long story short:
We hit up Aosta-vally,
and the Ticino
doing a lot of rivers between and around classes 4 and 5.
