11.Sultan Technique in Management of an Occluded AUI Talent EVAR graft

A 82 years old male who had an EVAR Talent by AUI and left common iliac artery occluder with a fem-fem cross over in 2003, presented with acute thrombosis of his graft post severe tachy- arrhythmia. Through mid line abdominal incision, we identify the SMA, Both renal arteries, after transfixing the left renal vein. We clamped above the SMA and right common iliac artery, we opened the abdominal aortic aneurysm and removed the supra renal graft by collapsing the proximal end of the aortic graft in my right hand and reposition the Crawford clamp to below both renal arteries with my left hand. We removed the right iliac limb extension endograft and the left common iliac artery occluder in a sequential matter then we inserted a silver Dacron straight tube. Patient was discharged home on his 7th postoperative day.
