A tale of tribulation, evil, and love set against the backdrop of Scandinavian middle ages bacchanalia. Once thought lost to the world, this film has suddenly reappeared and can now be viewed by the public.
Shot almost entirely with Spartan "one take" cinematography and a bohemian cast, it is a historical testament to the perseverance of impoverished filmmaking. The original score, also recorded in only one take, also illuminates the dark and tangled soul of the film and its producers.
This film represents the dangers of a castle and a fifth of gin.
Filmed on location at the infamous Bishop Castle.
