The CGI Annual Meeting is an invitation-only event held each September in New York City for heads of state, chief executives of companies, directors of major nonprofits, and other global leaders.

For three days, members make new connections and share insights and ideas. They learn about creative approaches taken by different organizations around the world. They hear from inspiring speakers who come from difference sectors, different countries, and different points of view. They analyze what works and what doesn't and use that knowledge to create programs that effect meaningful and lasting change in the world.

Established by Bill Clinton, 42nd President of the United States of America and Honorary Chancellor of Laureate International Universities, the mission of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) is to inspire, connect, and empower a community of global leaders to forge solutions to the world's most pressing challenges.

Live broadcast of CGI's Annual Meeting will take place September 24-25, 2012, for participating Laureate institutions.
