Speaking Daggers is a program created by Shakespeare on the Sound and originally funded by GE Capital to address the issue of bullying. Speaking Daggers utilizes Shakespeare's text, specifically A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, and The Merchant of Venice to address Cyber-Bullying, Conflict/Resolution, and Empathy Building.

Speaking Daggers has been featured at the middle schools in Norwalk, CT at the after school partnership with the students from the George Washington Carver Center and subsequently was asked into the Hartford Public School System middle schools to address the issue of bullying. Speaking Daggers continues to enter into schools across Connecticut and beyond, introducing many students to Shakespeare and helping to address the idea of creating a more positive school climate.
