Roger is survived by his wife, life long climbing partner and fellow guide Julie-Ann Clyma.
Roger was laid to rest in Leysin, Switzerland this was followed by memorial services held in London and in Manchester.
This short video forms part of small series that were produced for the Manchester Memorial Service and along with anecdotes and presentations by Andy Perkins, Dave Turnbull, Iain Peters, Ian Parnell, Andy McNae and Julie-Ann helped to convey the impact of Rogers remarkable life and the loss felt.
