In 2008, famed Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson was asked by Time Magazine to cite what he considered the most astounding fact he ever learned about the universe. His reply focused on the interconnectedness of all life on Earth to each other and to the rest of the universe, through our shared chemistry. It was eloquent, beautiful and pointed out a truth that I felt deserved some special video treatment. This is that video, mastered in HD to dramatic music and Dr. Tyson's narration. It is not the only video available here on this topic, but I hope you (and your students) enjoy my version of it.

Please rate this video and feel free to comment. If you like it, please help me spread the word by posting links to it and my channel on your social media websites. The more students who can enjoy these dramatic videos, the better!

I wish to thank all the quality video and music producers whose postings enabled me to assemble this video for educational use.

To best enjoy this video, darken the room, and turn your speakers up as loud as practical. The music and narration are dramatic and will enhance your viewing pleasure!
