HANS (Health Action Network Society) is a charitable natural health resource. HANS provides information on preventive medicine and natural therapeutics through our website, a reference library, Health Action magazine, the HANS e-News, and regular educational and networking events. Our members are like-minded people of all backgrounds, lay and professional, who share an interest in a natural approach to health care.

Our two key strategies to achieve our mission and vision are:

To provide health information (radio program, library, website, newsletter, educational seminars, answering enquiries, events and workshops) to individuals so they can make an informed choice.
Spearhead health issues important to the individual, guided with careful research and public relations campaigns to enable change at the regulatory level.
HANS has the largest on-line health library in B.C. and we have fielded up to 25,000 enquiries a year from British Columbians.

We have many educational projects on the go. If you're a member and have some spare time, volunteering is a great way to help make a difference. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing your efforts better the lives of others. If you're not a member, we'd be happy to have you join. Welcome!
