Montage of filmmaker James R. Petix's commercial editorial work. Clients include: Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ford, Lincoln, Pontiac, Cadillac, GM Goodwrench, USPS, Alltel, US Navy, Big Boy, and the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers. Petix is a Detroit native currently working and living in Los Angeles.

After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design, James spent eight years working in ad agencies (Leo Burnett, Doner) as well as post production houses (RingSide Creative, Function) as an Avid/Final Cut editor. He recently made his feature film debut with "It Came From Detroit" a documentary on the now legendary "Garage Rock" scene that exploded earlier this decade.
