Outlet glaciers along the Greenland Icecap are speeding up. Although more snow is falling on the interior of Greenland, the flow of ice through outlet glaciers is rapidly speeding up. In some cases, the speed is doubling. In this segment we talk with scientists who are seeking to understand the processes that cause the acceleration and also chat with locals about the implications of warming such as sea level rise and increased icebergs.
