What can we say about Mariko and Adam’s Jewpanese Wedding besides that it incorporated equal parts sushi and bagel. There was the breaking of the glass as well as the samurai sword cake cutting. Other highlights include Mariko and Adam running up the steps a la “Rocky” as well as a complete stranger jumping into Lake Washington to rescue Mariko’s veil. It was such an honor to capture a fellow cinematographer’s wedding day. Mariko and Adam both graduated from film school and Mariko also worked in Hawaii as a wedding videographer. In fact we met Adam in Vancouver at a Steadicam workshop. It was so great working with a couple whom we connect so well with. Here’s to Mariko and Adam!!
