Marvel Mysteries Cover Painting by Mitch Breitweiser
2 years ago
From Layout to finished painting, I labored nearly 22 hours straight on this cover and was able to record most of the digital work. The entire painting process has been condensed down to this 5 minute video.
Tools used: 17" Unibody Macbook Pro, Cintiq 21UX, Photoshop CS3. The line art was done with Black Magic ink and a Pentel brush pen on 11x17 bristol.

I like the use of gray wash before coloring.
Beautiful musical selection.
I can't wait for more. Do some videos of Elizabeth's art too.
