Executive Chef Edward Storey at Bardo Edibles and Elixirs cooks up a diabetes-friendly holiday dish.

Ingredients

10 c broccoli florets
2 Tbl blended oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
¼ c soy sauce
2 Tbl sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp lemon juice
½ c chopped almonds

Instructions

Saute broccoli in oil until crispy tender. Add garlic, soy sauce, sugar, and ginger. Cook for 1 minute. Sprinkle with lemon juice and almonds. Ready to serve. Serves 8.
