The ingress of the 2012 Transit of Venus, where the planet Venus first begins to pass between the Earth and the Sun until it fully appears inside the disk of the Sun, was imaged near the Dene community of Behchokǫ̀, Northwest Territories, Canada using a Lunt 60mm hydrogen-alpha telescope.
