i emailed buster simpson, the artist who designed the bridge and its led system. he told me the led system is a work in progress, and that he has been waiting for repairs to some of the faulty lights. the lighting system will apparently be able to change colors depending on what temperature the day was, what colors the sunset was, and various other holiday/event themes.
i definitely want to go back there, on a nice stormy monsoon day, and take another time lapse.
