We take you to some of the finest in Rome: Santa Maria Maggiore, a major basilica in the medieval Byzantine style; Santa Maria Degli Angeli, designed by Michelangelo inside an ancient Roman structure; Santa Maria della Vittoria, with Bernini's masterpiece, The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa; San Carlo ai Quatro Fontane, a small geometric gem by Boromini.
