I always want to film people without them knowing...which is why I think it would be great to be able to have your camera in your backpack and then wire it somehow to your glasses or your headband or something. That would be SO convenient.

Yeah it's a .wmv file. If I create quicktime clips on the program I use, they end up way too big, and if I try to compress them the sound and picture distorts. Not nice. Sorry! Usually once it's converted it will be watchable.

Not sure what video editing program you are using (might not have option), but if you do, try sorensen or sorensen 3 and reduce data rate to less than 1000 and set the frame rate around 10-15.

Quicktime pro definitely has that option.

H.264 is the future baby, high quality movie for only a couple of mb or even kb

moppity, Quicktime has a lots of format choices, so if you choose the right one, you can still keep the quality of the movie, the fps and the resolution while the files size will be a lots lower. like the video I did here vimeo.com/clip=44221 it should've been like 28mb but got it to a mere 5mb, I can put it down to even 2MB easily.

thought in a Mac, it took forever to encode a movie due to the slow G4.
