Patty, Lauren and I were trapped--the only people on the ride--on a ferris wheel in Osaka for a loooooong time while the ferris wheel crew kept making announcements over the loudspeaker. I assume they were trying to calm our nerves, or they were trying to tell us to 'just press the damn reset button!' As none of us speak Japanese, we will never know. When we made it back down, the crew was bowing profusely and saying something repeatedly in apology and refunded our money.
