I appreciate the poetry in this video.
Unemployment sucks but I like your next video to be positive and inspiring allright?

Feel you "picture this." In the back of my brain I've made a mental note the next waxing will be upbeat.

    Anthony,
Very visually mesmerizing and circular, like the problem you explored. I thought that what you presented was very insightful and real. You must have experienced it or known people that have. I did not think it was negative (opposite of positive) but rather a critical foucused view of a very pressing issue in our country, and if I read the newspapers (yes I read papers) the world in general.

I agree, unemployment provides a false sense of security, that is contrasted with it's temporary nature. However, we should all be entitled to it, being that anyone can get unpredictably and unfairly "canned", and we all pay into the system while times are good anyway. The lazy, reclusive and parasitic behavior/waltz you mention, can be more of a side-effect. A type of depression that stems from the acknowledgement that you will not be rich and famous, now that you are unemployed. You will not be the getting a bonus and you will not be chilling at the next company xmas party. Been there myself.

Instead of looking at it as "free money" to be used on self indulgence, it can also be a lifeline to give us the momentum to jump back in "the game". A type of "loan" to help us with our dignity and buys time while we figure out where to go next. We all know by now, there's absolutely nothing "free", in a "free market economy".
