Add this to the pile of test videos in the world. The aspect ratio is SNAFU but you get the idea.

I mounted my Panasonic GS-500 16:9 video camera to my recumbent trike (left side) on the accessories bar. The camera is facing slightly upward to show more of the buildings rather than more of the road immediately in front of the trike. The accessories bar turns with the wheels so the camera pans with turns. I took a ride around a block with all left turns to see how it looked.

I processed this video with VirtualDub and the Deshaker filter. The edges of the video move around a bit as the deshaker is doing it's thing. Next time I'll get the aspect ratio correct. This whole thing is an experiment and I may end up shooting more ride videos if I can get suitable production values.
