What's the single biggest contribution to business success? asks this documentary written and directed by Jon Danzig. The answer: developing the skills of all the staff.
The film, part of a series of films and books called, "People Power at Work", demonstrated to employers that successful businesses invest in their staff, offer continuous training and share openly their company's vision. In the mid 1990s this video was shown to business managers throughout the UK, with customised versions produced for different regions of the country. As a direct result of this film, many businesses signed up to the Investors in People award and learnt how to harness their 'People Power'.
A companion video, "People Power for Employees", demonstrated to staff that lifelong learning and the Investors in People award would result in great benefits to their prospects and working life.
