Steve Lawson public beta. A Gentle Descent Into Madness. :)
So here's another bit of bass experimentation film on Saturday - this one starts out with a harmonics pattern, that I replace bits of with other harmonics in order to get the weird stuttered bleepy effect at the beginning.
Add a bass line, and then get to work on developing the descent into madness - from the slightly fluttery start, the melody starts to get more and more fragmented, but ends up peaceful again.
The looping effects are, as always, all from the Looperlative LP1 - you really need to check it out (see looperlative.com for more) - great for simple, high quality stuff, or mad glitchcore, messed up weirdness like the melody background on this.
Enjoy! It shouldn't be too long before I start recording the new album for real. Doing these little 'trial runs' on video is proving really useful for me, and I hope entertaining for you.
