The Liquid Way were invited to launch Western Europe’s tallest building to London, the worlds press and a select group of VVIP’s.
We created the biggest light and laser show the capital had ever seen, played out on the entire 72 floors of the building and sychronised to the music of the world famous London Philharmonic Orchestra.
There were 3 phases to the activity, starting with a Royal plaque unveiling ceremony with key dignitaries including HRH Prince Andrew, Mayor Boris Johnson and key officials from Qatar National Bank and the State of Qatar.
In the evening we provided a formal dinner for 250 key VVIP's with live performances from the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
A stunning light and laser show choreographed to a live performance from the Orchestra closed the evening.
Liquid Results: The activity was a resounding success with press coverage in all national titles and front page coverage on 6 national titles including The Guardian & The Times. In addition to this international coverage across 410 channels on TV was secured including channels in the US, China and Middle East.
Such was the anticipation surrounding the inauguration that impromptu Shard parties were held throughout London and London Bridge was actually closed as over 5,000 revellers converged to gain a birds eye view of the light show.
