Red Rabbit
A man lives alone in a small apartment. The little contact he had with other people has dropped to zero since the rabbit appeared. Every attempt to get the rabbit out of his apartment has failed and since he is not sure whether or not pets are allowed in the building, he does not let anybody enter his apartment.

if I may..( and in only constructive way say this )...if you didn't told us that the rabbit has appeared...and that the man is trying to get him out..( and that is kinda funny...cause..he's actually feeding the '' little'' thing :)..so..my point was..the motif of the rabbit is some kind of allegory ( if I'm correct ) for his non-social habbits..or something similar...and..the film is actually starting to grow from the point where the rabbit is actually in the apartment and for me..( and I've seen the film 3 times in a row ) is saying the rabbit is his pet..and..not something that suddenly appeared in his room :)
other then that...REALLY LOVING IT ALL !:)..so..gooood work !
p.s.
i didn't mean to insult you in any way..i meant this in a most constructive way :)

I think your interpretation is quite accurate. I always thought the rabbit appeared a few years ago, and it has grown ever since. Some habits start out small and grow into something life-threatening...
But do check out Cinema 4D. It´s easier to learn and has a great workflow with After Effects. A lot of Motion Designers here in Germany use it.
Love your video!!
Thanks for adding to the channel! You love dinosaurs right?
And having done paper cutout you might really like this one:

(sorry not on vimeo)
it's been a while since i was glued to the screen, and your piece was so refreshing to watch! It also proved to me that a polished animation could be nice to watch, but it is a Good storyline which makes it all work! :]
It made me think & feel, and that's what it's all about :] Danke! :]
I'm very impressed!
da ich von 3d animation nicht viel ahnung habe, kann ich wohl nur annehmen welch zeitintensive arbeit dies war.
die geschichte gefällt mir sehr mit dem ziemlich unerwarteten: twist in the tale...
gratulation

Great piece!
Your comments are a great encouragement!
Thank you so much!
This is such a great place, I´m happy to be here!
It was really hard for me to give shots away to other animators. So in total only 4 or 5 Shots were not animated by me.
You can calculate an average of 10 seconds per week or 2-3 days per shot. with 90 shots it´s basically on year of animation.
Half a year of of modelling, rigging, blocking in advance and then another 6 months to shade, light, render and composite the film.
It was my first "long" 3d Project. Now I would do a lot of things differently, and hopefully faster ;-)
Byt the way: how much time did you spend on this project?
I replied to Paco in detail about the timing. But it took me roughly 2 years to make the film...
I wish you good luck on your project. Hope to see it when it´s done!
thank you!!!
I have nothing to add...
Brilliant! ending is sooooooooooo good!
wonderful wonderful job.
what software did you use for this masterpiece?
and how do you get such real sounding sound effects?
we are all hiding little things.
Yeah, we don't always let the neighbours past the front door either, but it's because of REAL rabbits. Ever since the cat appeared, the rabbits started leaving pellets around the house to remind the cat who was here first. We don't even put the vacuum away anymore.
So we're always standing awkwardly blocking the door so people don't see any rabbit poo.

Foley, direction, graphics, lighting, composition, narrative...a video that has it all.

(Below is mine, I was going to make a film on it one of these days.)
Brought memories of my adopted rabbit, when I was 8 years young. Eventually the rabbit grew, got bigger than a dog and ate all my mother's plants. I was ordered to get rid of it!
Gave it to a neighbor who said he likes rabbits.
=
2 weeks later I came to visit him, and he was gone? I asked my neighbor "what happened to rabito?" His reply was, "I told you I lke rabbits, we ate him..."
Very good work.
