As part of the Global Media Forum, organised by Deutsche Welle, Germanys International Broadcaster in Bonn, a symposium is organised on Journalistic Training and Media Development. Among others the topic will be Journalism and Social Media. This video-mash-up, to be presented at the symposium, was jointly created by three of Deutsche Welle Akademie’s staff: Marcus Bösch, Guy Degen, Daniel Hirschler.

    Interesting Mashup - I think the one thing you might consider doing for a follow up piece would be to contrast the positive aspects of social media with the concerns about them.

    Obviously there are numerous instances where social media has helped journalism, but there are also occasions where it has been hindered by it - might be an interesting look to see how the two compare.
