On Friday, September 14, 2012, Monmouth University students camped out on Shadow Lawn in cardboard structures to experience what it would be like to be homeless for the night. Students also participated in peanut butter and jelly relays to make sandwiches for those in need, a canned food drive and sculpture contest for Move for Hunger, and a screening of "Homeless to Harvard."
The event was hosted by First Year Service Project and Residence Hall Association as part of Battle of the Buildings 2012.
All video footage and photographs taken by Kate Nawoyski, Class of 2013.
