This addresses a challenging issue as a Christian who is fervent about evangelism. And not only this, but living a Christian life before the world with boldness...yet not arrogant.

How to be salt and light in an aggressively anti-Christ society. There is not enough space to write out all that could be. There are no simplistic guidelines to remember for me. We need to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ foremost. Jesus was perfect in His dealings with people. This resulted in much persecution and His death. The same for Paul. My concern is that the fear of persecution and death still dominates the Body of Christ that we compromise to be likable at the expense of being relevant, effective, and annointed.

My other approach would be to define love as described in 1 Cor 13 and believe God for grace to be able to suffer persecution and rejection without vengeance or retaliation or self defense depending on God to defend and vindicate.
