Washington, DC based Andy Zipf has taken a turn away from his more aggressive style on his recent release, Jealous Hands.

While Zipf is used to focusing his creative efforts around rock guitar riffs, the artist opted for centering his third full-length effort around a more intimate vocal style this time around.

“I don’t think I’ve ever done anything this personal before,” says Zipf.

With over 400 live shows over a four year span, Andy Zipf had spent his first two full-lengths trying to capture his live performance feel. This time around, the singer/songwriter decided to work more closely with producer Jeremy Griffith (Norma Jean, Guiltmaker) to create an even more immersive listening experience.
